I’m a PhD student in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Originally from Poland, I moved to Canada in 2020 after completing my Master’s in Biochemistry at the University of St Andrews, where I worked on modeling cooperativity in PROTACs and mapping lipid distributions in parasites that cause neglected tropical diseases. My current research focuses on how mutational interactions (epistasis) shape the evolution of new enzyme functions, with an emphasis on biophysical and structural mechanisms. I also enjoy sharing science through my blog: decodingproteins.com
